Types of HAYAH Health Insurance Plans

HAYAH Basic Health Insurance Plan

The HAYAH basic plan is mainly chosen to meet UAE visa requirements. It covers essential medical services but comes with several limits. You usually need to visit a GP first, access outpatient care only at clinics, and rely on a smaller medical network. It works if you want a low-cost option and only need basic protection.

Example
If you develop a non-emergency issue like a cough, you must see a GP first. Only after referral can you see a specialist. In emergencies, however, you can go straight to the hospital.

HAYAH Semi-Comprehensive Health Insurance Plan

This plan offers more flexibility than a basic plan. It gives you wider hospital access, allows you to see specialists without a referral, and offers better inpatient benefits. It’s suitable if you want more comfort and convenience without paying for a fully comprehensive plan.

Example
If you have recurring back pain, you can directly visit a specialist. For hospital treatment, you don’t need any referral. Emergencies are handled through direct hospital access.

HAYAH Comprehensive Health Insurance Plan

A comprehensive plan gives you the highest level of medical protection. It includes broad coverage for specialist visits, surgeries, maternity, diagnostics, pre-existing conditions, and more. You get full access to top hospitals, often with higher limits, and added benefits.

Example
If you choose a comprehensive plan, you can directly visit the best hospitals or specialists for any treatment. For something major like surgery, you get access to top facilities without any referral.

What is Covered in HAYAH Health Insurance?

Each health insurance plan from HAYAH comes with a set of core benefits that help you manage everyday healthcare costs in the UAE. While the exact coverage depends on the plan you choose, most policies include essential medical services along with optional add-ons for extra protection.
